About us
A house we run ourselves
We let the rooms ourselves, make the breakfast ourselves and clear the yard ourselves in winter. That is why we know every guest by name and which room suits which trip.
From family house to guesthouse
The house sits on the edge of the village, quiet, with a meadow behind the garden. Rooms were added one by one, then the apartment, later the drying room for bikers and the wallbox on the wall.
The murals on the facade show what our guests come for: hiking, cross country skiing and mountain biking. Some have booked the same room for more than ten years.
The garden
In the evening you only hear the forest
Behind the house there is lawn, old spruces and a few benches in the shade. If you want to put your feet up after a ride, there are loungers on the grass. Barbecuing is possible by arrangement.
No through road, no traffic noise. That is why many guests come back.

Small things that make a stay easier
Room for your kit
Drying room, tools, a place to wash jerseys. Bikes are locked inside the house.
Good for children
There is space to play in the garden and to build snowmen in winter. Extra bed and high chair by arrangement.
Bayrisch Eisenstein through the year
In summer, hiking and bike routes straight from the village centre. In autumn, the view of the Arber when the beeches turn. In winter, trails nearby and the ski area ten minutes away by car.
The station is a five minute walk, and the Waldbahn takes you to Zwiesel and beyond without a car.
